Longboat Arms – our touch of paradise – was built in 1971 comprising 45 units across two main buildings. There are 24 units in the “C” building, and 21 units in the “D” building. We’re located at 3300-3330 Gulf of Mexico Drive, almost right in the middle of our 10.8 mile-long barrier island, Longboat Key. Features at Longboat Arms include a clubhouse and tennis court, plus deeded direct beach access just across Gulf of Mexico Drive (GMD). Then, we have a community grill area adjacent to our lovely swimming pool which recently underwent a complete upgrade. Then construction of a new seawall completed improvement of the NE point and boat docks area. Also, regular maintenance of the condos’ residential buildings is all-important with new roofs in 2017 and complete exterior painting in 2020.
Our residents have access to a newly restored private boat ramp for canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, jet skis, and similar watercraft. Then there are few boat docks also available for an annual fee.
The Carports reconstruction project is complete! Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and supply chain problems, we experienced many delays. The good news is that the carports are open for use effective April 26, 2022. Please visit the Carports page for a chronology of the project.
